Thanks Phil, thats certainly a beautiful car, and I agree that the Daytona blue with the red interior and white top is stunning. First problem is that at 90K, its well outside my price range and the second is that being 6'6, with the top down, the very top of my head is directly in the wind stream. My last car was a '69 roadster and I found that after an hour or two of driving, it became very annoying having just the very top of my head in the direct wind stream....sounds silly, but Ive found I much prefer driving the couples. Plus in the C2, I really think the coupe is a better looking car.

Thanks Will, unfortunately, it looks like that ad got taken down. Ive found throughout this hunt that if a craigslist ad for a '64 Corvette only has one picture, and limited info, its usually a scam.

There was a 64 Daytona Blue coupe for sale at the Raleigh car meet this weekend. Car is a driver. Fresh paint but needs cut and buff or more depending on what you want . New tires still had the tags on them . Nom 350. Priced at $35K . He also had a takeoff Vintage air setup for it he bought at the meet. Frame had a repair on the drivers side . Car is in the Raleigh area. See number on pic. Dave
