Default Documented 1967 427/435 Coupe

1967 427/435HP Original, completely documented Marlboro Maroon Corvette Coupe. This car is completely original and was judged by the NCRS back in 1985 and again in 2016 with a Top Flight score of 98.3. This car has had 3 prior owners and has complete documentation including Tank Sticker, Protecto plate, Owners manual, Title Documentation, Receipts since new (documenting mileage) including the original equipment and paperwork that came with the car when built. (See Book for all original documents including reams of receipts)
What makes this car particularly rare is not only the amount of paperwork and documentation, but the fact that this is one of very, very few 1967 Corvette 427/435HP cars that had this many original options to the car and is REAL!
This car came from the factory with the following components that are original and still on the car today. Aluminum Bolt On Wheels (including Spare and ORIGINAL Spare tire), J56 HD brakes, Side Dual Exhaust, 4 speed close ratio transmission coupled with the 4:11 positraction rear end, Power Windows, Power Brakes, Power Steering, tinted windows, Telescopic Steering Wheel, Black Leather Interior, Transistorized ignition, AM/FM radio, 775x15 White Sidewall tires and of course the original 427/435HP Engine.
Note that all components of the car are ORIGINAL to this car. Virtually all of the components have been completely gone through and many rebuilt to ensure reliability. The goal was to make this car as close to how it came out of the factory as possible without over restoration on items that were deemed original. Note that Original chrome, original interior and many other parts were left untouched to show that this car was truly a time capsule from 50 years ago and now ready to present herself for the next 50 years!
Every component is not only date code correct, but is the original component from when the car was made at the factory. The only modification this car ever had was the 2nd owner decided to sell the original carburetors and replace them with a single 4 barrel carb. Luckily, the original manifold was kept and I was able to find 3 original carburetors that were painstakingly rebuilt and now rest on the original manifold.
This car needs absolutely nothing and has been in the hands of some of the finest 67 corvette restorers in the country. Mike Sams and Tom Beuglas of NCRS Reknown in the SE are experts on 1967 Corvettes and they can share with you any details you may wish to know that were not outlined above.
If you are looking for one of the finest examples of a very, very rare, highly optioned original 1967 Corvette 427/435hp Coupe, you may want to consider this car. Serious Inquiries only.
David 404-414-8832

May be interested in partial trades as I am looking for newer cars I can drive.

You mean after more than 30 years you couldn't get the score any higher - just kidding - absolutely beautiful car and so rare. Best of luck with sale.

Actually when we received the 98.3, we took it back to Tom to go over every deduct and corrected each and every issue. I am guessing it will do well if the next owner wants to go to Bloomington Gold or Duntov. Car is certainly able to obtain these awards. It just needs the next owner to take it to the shows.

I am looking to find a newer car to drive and enjoy as this one is too nice and rare. Also have a Boss 429 (one of the first ever made and very similar in condition to this corvette).

Selling both and looking for a Porsche 911 GT3RS, Cayman GT4, Ford GT, Porsche 918 or other rare and newer cars. Perhaps a Viper T/A?

They were a 3/8 inch hex head flange bolt to hold the Tri power air cleaner base to the carbs, 1967 only. There are some listed on ebay

Earlier in your thread you mention interest in an Anniversary ZR1.
I'm the original owner of a Canadian '13 Anniversary ZR1 that Is fully loaded. I might consider selling.
It's all original with the equivalent of 4243 miles. It's "like new".
If interested, feel free to pm. There are some pics in my profile album.
I'm located in the Toronto, Ontario area.

Note that the car can now be seen at RK Motors in Charlotte. I have had several folks that have wanted to trade cars, but as noted above, I am looking for newer cars to drive. By taking it to RK Motors (they are incredible and have excellent cars), they can facilitate taking a potential buyers car in trade. Hope this helps. I believe they will have it up and listed this week, as I just delivered it to them on Friday evening.

You can always call me as I am the owner and will be more knowledgeable on the car than they may be.

Don't the forum rules require a price to be listed?

Yes, yes they do. I am surprised it took this long for someone to let him know this.
