Default SuperBowl Vette

Thought this was an interesting story on eBay. If I were a Packers and Vette fan, this would be nirvana. I'm a Raiders fan so if anyone has this in Silver and Black (matching numbers etc...), feel free to post too.

No affiliation but since I can't find my perfect vette, maybe this will be someone's dream and the mojo will circle back to me.

That's a really interesting car, I noticed it Sunday and was contemplating bidding on it. The Bart Starr connection is interesting but doesn't add any value for me (even though most of my family are die hard Packers fans). At the current bid of $58,300, it makes no sense to engage in the bidding unless the Packers connection really appeals. A green/black base motor convertible that has been disassembled and cleaned-up yet really doesn't make the grade as a Survivor just doesn't justify that bid in my world.

Nice, but not that nice for that money. Stick with the car, leave the stories for story time. Best on the sale, feel the $$ has reached the selling . ....

Interesting story. I wonder what the story was behind the ex husbands corvette and why he chose to keep his and not this one? Either way, it should bring a hefty price if your a packers fan.

Very interesting to see the notation on the build sheet "Courtesy delivery B. Starr."

When your ad is 90% "the story" then I lose interest fast.... It ain't like Billy Mitchell or Mickey Thompson owned it...

He's still alive. 83 years old. If I owned that car, I would try to get a picture of him with it. I bet he'd like to see it anyway just for the heck of it.
