FS-66 Coupe
Hi all,
I'm selling my 66 coupe to partially fund the purchase of a leftover 1LT as noted in my thread on the C7 forum. The car is licensed and insured an driven occasionally so it's not a basket case or anything like that but it no show winner as the paint is shot. From 30 feet it looks ok. This may be a blessing since its mossport green and should be milano maroon. It's a 4spd with the 327/350 original motor. It has no power steering or power brakes or AC.It has side pipes, the knockoff hub caps and decent tires. Whomever bought this car brand new went low budget. The headlights rotate and work, the radio lights up but no sound, wipers work, tach works, speedo does not. Never tried the heater. The car was sold new in Binghamton NY as per the original window sticker. The interior is very nice. The car is located off exit 159 on I-81 fairly close to Wilkes-Barre,Pa.
I realize that this is not the best time to sell a Corvette but I'm concerned about loosing all the rebates on the new C-7 at the end of the month. Going for the bargain price of $ 31,500. Come and get it, tell your friends.

Hi all,
It's fairly nice outside today. I'll pull the car out and try to get some pics. I may have to e-mail them directly to you since I have never posted a pic on any forum.I will see how the pics turn out. Also I meant to finish my initial post by mentioning that I am selling a 1949 Chevy truck that has a paint job that I wish the 66 Vett had.

Hi all,
This is becoming a little overwhelming with all of the pm's. Today was not a good day for pics with the rain and sleet so I'll try again tomorrow. Here are some numbers that a few were asking about. The VIN is194376S120408, the cast # is 3858174, the stamp # is 120408 F0421H? possibly T, the date cast is D146. When I bought the car all I asked was does it have the original motor and he said yes. No overseas sales please.

Hi all,
Hang in there man. You may do this stuff every day but it's new to me. I took several decent pics today and figured out how to get them from my phone to my computer. A forum member put that one pic above from a couple of years ago, thanks. It's funny that I'm already getting offers for less without it even being seen, I was hoping for offers for more.
Thanks,
Rick

Looks like a very nice purchase price. Tough to find a descent C2 for under $35k.
I'd for sure ignore those who offer anything less without seeing the car. I've experienced this tactic and usually respond by accepting them.....some just fade away after you accept, others start asking the questions they should have asked before the offer was made. I've never seen the offer actually come to fruition. So you have to ask, why make the offer?
