FOR SALE: '65 Red Conv. w/4 speed, side pipes, knock-offs
S O L D
Just got a real good deal on this one, and don't need another '65, so it's for sale at a VERY reasonable price.
Nice driver quality, with a 350 Chevy motor in it, and has had side pipes, knock-off wheels, and a big block hood added (not originally on the car, but correct for '65).
Could use new carpet (faded), and driver's door panel.
Drives and looks very good.
I have a lot more pics available. Very clean frame with very minor surface rust. No options. Aftermarket radio mounted in center panel. Almost new soft top.
I strongly urge anyone serious about buying this car, to come down and give it a thorough inspection. I don't have the knowledge to answer all questions you may have. I will help in any way I can. If you don't live nearby, perhaps find a fellow Forum member to check out the car for you.
I think this will go fast at $25k. Car is here in South Florida.

I think guys on the Forum really missed the boat on this one...
It was sold to a DEALER !
We all know that this car will be marked-up before being re-sold.

You're right. If I had sold the 61 when you offered it, I'd have jumped all over it. Lussier Motorsports of Ft Myers is offering the car on Ebay right now. I've been to his place before he probably wants around 30-32 for it.
If you find another one like that , let me know.

Just curious, that 65 you just sold, was that in the Trader at such a ridiculous low price I won't post it here?
I saw one several weeks ago in the Trader online on your coast. The car looked good in the pics. If fact it looked so good and the price was soooooo low that I figured it would be gone by the time I could even drive over to see it.
