Default Installing rivets into a '63 door channel

I am in the process of reassembling vent window frame to the door window channel. There are a few rivets that I need to install. I have install rivets before using the buba method of hammer on one side and a flat metal block on the other side.

I would like to install these rivets using a more correct method. Can someone help me? The original rivets appear to be: non aluminum, flat head, ~ .195” diameter (if that helps).

Thanks GaryC

If you are not concerned about being original, I used small stailesss steel fastener with a lock washer and nut. But, most upholserty shops would have the proper tool to install the rivet.
