Default Convertible top frame repair

Does anyone have a good source to get the front bow replaced and perhaps freshen up the entire vert frame. Prior to me purchasing the car sat forever and the top of the front bow/frame that attaches to the windshield is wasted! The rest is in really good shape but needs bushings etc. I am located in VA but could ship if source was reliable. Are they even worth saving or should I buy a new one thru one of the venders? You feedback is appreciated.

Sully's Tops ......Oregon or California....I can't find his card but he has all the right parts and will repair it for you if you want. Maybe another forum member can help with the phone number.

Thanks for the tip, I will contact him for info and cost. Can anyone out there vouch for Sully's? It's nice to hear from a customer first hand on quality and service. This forum has been a great source to research info and services, thanks for all the help.

My top had a rusted front bow and was in a barn for 20 years so it needed some work.. Zip Products sells every piece for the top but did not have the front bow in stock, I ordered it from Coffman Corvette's, they had it in stock but it was $30 more, $359.. I also got the tack strips, weatherstripping, and all hardware from Zip.. They sell a complete screw kit, rivits, and all other hardware

Then I used a wire wheel on the air compressor and cleaned it up and painted it.. Looks almost new..
there is a company that sells new replacement top frames on Ebay and sells the pieces too, they said they had the front and rear bow pieces in stock but I had already called Coffman..

Doug,
Thanks for the info, I sent a reply back to you with my email address. We need to get together to discuss the rear suspension on your car and share some info. I am in the Hickory section of Chesapeake (near Centerville and Battlefield intersection). I will be out of touch until next weekend (17th). I will contact you then with the number you provided. Look forward to meeting ya!
