blu61 back on the road
Hi all,
after 5 yrs, my 61 is back on the road. I still have a few small bits to finish off but I'm very happy with it. Here are a few pics.

Thanks for the positive feedback.
The wheels are Torq Thrust II 15x7. Tires - Toyo tranpath 215/70. I tried some 215/60s but they didn't fill the wheel well enough in my opinion. The rear springs are sitting a bit high - I need to talk to the guys who did them for me, they said they would sag with time.

Andy60,
It depends what part of the country you are visiting, it's a big place. Where I am is perfect top down driving right now. It is warmer than usual for this time of year at present. Min 12-14 deg C, Max 24-26. Blue sky from horizon to horizon.
Just took the car for a bit of a spin. The vacuum advance port wasn't working on my Holley. It goes much better at low revs now that it has some vacuum advance. I was getting a bog down on acceleration and an occasional back-fire on gentle aceleration at low revs. I also wasn't getting enough total timing. Pulls hard all the way to 5500rpm now. I think it has more in it but I didn't want to push it too hard just yet.
