Default After market steering wheel?

Has anyone put an after market steering wheel on there 66? I will be putting the steeriods kit on mine (have it here allready) and want to put a black leather, smaller wheel on. But everyone I see out there says that you must bend the blinker switch forward for them to work.
Are there any that do not require this? How about an adaptor that spaces it out a little?

thanks

I would like to just change the wheel for now, I may have to order a turn signal handle and bend it. I am not sure what would be the be way to bend it or how far it needs to be bent.

I bent my turn indicator since they seem to be cheap to replace. Just take it out and hold the base in the vice and barely tweek it. It doesn't take much.

Check the Details page linked off my home page (listed below). The stalk is identical to the (bagged) original but has a black plastic **** to match my black plastic shift ****.

The wheel is a 14 inch Superior with a 4 inch dish. Any wheel with a 3.5-4inch dish will work. I have one (came on my car) you can wrap in black leather - its black plastic with chrome spokes - like the walnut one in my car.

Eric Freeman 14 inch teak wheel. Looks just like the stock wheel but smaller. I did not have to bend anything
