Default difference of solid lifter cam????

What are the differences between a LT1 solid lifter cam vs a 30/30 (duntov)cam? Which one is recomended as a replacement in a 327/300 hp. Thanks Mike

Do a search and you will find lots of discussion on the LT-1 and 30-30 cams.

NEITHER is correct for a 327/300, which has a much milder hydraulic cam that is wildly available - Federal Mogul, GMPP, and many aftermarket vendors.

BTW the "30-30 cam" is NOT the "Duntov cam" There is only one Duntov cam - the 3636097 cam that was used on all mechanical lifter RRO engines from '57 to '63. The 30-30 cam replaced it for '64.
