Anyone Have Cragars On A C2?
I would like to put a set of Cragar SS wheels on my 66 coupe. Does anyone here have these wheels on their car and what size works best with what size tire? I am thinking 6 or 7 inch wide, but what backspace is needed? And, what size tire can I go with? Thanks.

I have American TTIIs on mine, but from what I've learned on this subject from this forum in the past, you will have to use spacers with the Cragars because the spokes won't clear the brake calipers.

I have Crager SS 15" X 6 " , with Crager spinners... 215 X 65 R 15 " tires, on my triple black 1966 B/B/.....They really set off the black paint....only problem you need 1/2" spacers to clear calipers......... the Dog

dmentzer me too. asked same question last month. best reply i got was buy from 'jegs' $100+ per wheel. also buy cragar spacer #29200 'corvette spacer kit', comes with spacers and long lug nuts. 205 tire width is best [thats for 15x6 wheels]. don't remember who offered info but i was pleased to get it. good luck bc

Another option I thought of was rally wheels. Were the rallys that came on a 67 6" or 7"? And, is there a source for them? I see 8" listed at various sites but no 6" or 7".

I wrote the advice about the Wheels from Jegs. I think the 15x6's are actually $110 now. They also only charged me 8$ shipping for all 4 wheels combined!
No probs with the spacers. Check for tightness occasionally, and run the heck out of them -- I do!
I had whitewalls on in this pic, but now have Pirellis on them.
Running 205/70/15's at the moment, no rubbing issues at all.
