Oil Filter Question
Changed the oil yesterday in my GM 383 Stroker. It came with a PF25 AC filter on it but was changed after 500 mile break in. PF25 has been replaced with AC 454 now. With the AC 454 filter the outer edge of the rubber sealing gasket on the filter just barely catches the inner edge of the oil filter seat on the stroker block. In other words the oil filter seal is almost too small in diameter to seal properly. I found a Bousch filter that was somewhat larger but not much. Now this started life as a 350 block and I should be able to find an oil filter that mates to the seat better than the one I used AC 454. Any suggestions where to start?

We still have PF-25s and PF-35s here in Canada. I use the PF-35 as it gives a slightly larger sump capacity. The superseding equivalent to the 35 is the PF-1218.

I sell these PF filters in my store. The new PF1218 is almost the same height as the old PF25!
My customers now like to use the Wix brand of filters. They are the same size as the old PF25 and the PF35. 51069 and 51061 respectively.
