Default Recommendations on Source for Master Cylinder Sleeving

I searched the forum and didn't find info on this already so...

I have a 1962 and I will probably need to have my original master cylinder sleeved (I suspect pits in the bore).

Some vendors sleeve with brass, some with stainless.

Can you recommend a place to sleeve my master cylinder and possibly wheel cylinders?

I had excellent luck with White Post Restorations when I needed the master cylinder from my Buick sleeved, but does anyone have any further recommendations for dealing with the Corvette master cylinder?

Any thoughts on brass versus stainless? I read White Post's rationale for why they use brass over stainless (less risk to original master cylinder when pressing the sleeve in).

Thank You,
Jeff

Master Brake in North Carolina did mine. For wheel cylinder just buy new ones. Best price seems to be from advance auto parts. You buy all four a few bucks more than most places charge for one to be sleeved.

www.whitepost.com

I've used them several times, as well as others here have. All positive experiences.

ditto on white post. i knew that they were going to bead blast the master cyl. body. and i asked that the cast in numbers and letters remain. they also painted it in the correct black for my model year.
good service , quick turn-a-round. about 2 days in their shop.

I think I have NIB Wagner Lockheed master cylinder for your car around here that I bought 25+ years ago and now will never use, if you don't care about having the original casting.
