Default C1 rear end width?

Is the corvette C1 rear end the same width as that era passenger cars? Does anyone know the flange to flange width of a C1 rear end?
Thanks

Should be the same as a 55-57 chevy. I don't have the measurement right now.

Believe it or not, a 58-59 Olds will fit right under with same width

The width may be the same (55"), but Corvette spring perches are farther out on the housing. Corvette rears are 47.24 inches (47 15/64) between the center of the springs. Passenger rears have 46 inches between the spring centers.
