Your car turned out unbelievable!

Any chance of remembering the wheel and tire specs? size, backspacing, offset etc?

Very nice! I think im making that picture of the wheel and sidepipes my desktop!

Were those taken at Autorama in Houston? I know I've seen that 62 before.

Tires and Wheels
Front tires: Michelin Pilot Sport 275/36 ZR18Z 25.5 high 10.82 wide
Rear tires: Michelin Pilot Sport 335/30 ZR18 102Y 25.9 high 13.1 wide

Front wheels: Colorado Custom Mesa 18x 9.5 x 4.25 back spacing
Rear wheels: Colorado Custom Mesa 18x 12 x 6 inch back spacing

Knock offs (spinners) Carriage Works Billet #8014

PS...

(Don't forget the custom quarters and offsett trailing arms)

Thanks rich, that helped out alot. I really dig the way you modified the rear quarters, great stuff.

Did you do any frame modifications to accomodate that 6" backspacing? I'm using 5.5" with my 10" wheels and it just barely clears the frame above the trailing arm pocket! Still drooling...

Dang..you got me on that one. There was a small location on the frame on the driver's side that would barely rub the top side wall of the tire. This was not the case by about 1/4 inch on the passenger side. We removed about a 2 inch strip area and welded a thick plate behind it. Both the driver's side and the passenger side now clear by about 1/4 inch to the frame. With the low profile tires they are not deviating much.

everytime I see your car, I need to get a towel and wipre the drool away.....really nice.....and thanks for the C1 as well....that also had me drolling and thinking about what is sitting in the garage in a pile of parts....my '60 getting put together with Myers Racing front and rear suspension pieces....Ford 9" with 3.55 gears/posi hooked up to a Tremec TKO600 and a 383 stroker......dog gone it...now I have to get another towel....more drool!!!!!!
