Clutch bracket to bellhousing ??
The bellhousing I have for my 61 has one hole for the clutch bracket. Is there a bellhousing with 2 holes? I have the AIM and the picture from Corvette central, but none of them show this detail of the bellhousing. Thanks in advance

Yes, I think that the correct bellhousing has 2 threaded bolt holes for the clutch bracket. My 62's bellhousing had this configuration, (but I don't think it was the original housing, since it was cast iron). A new 62 clutch bracket I ordered also fit this bellhousing correctly.

Corvette bells had two holes, pass car bells and Lakewood scattershields have one hole, as the motor was in a different position relative to the clutch cross shaft.
The one hole is not quite in the right place for perfect line up, but it is close enuf it works.
One of these days I will make an adaptor bracket so my linkage is better lined up, but the one hole bell used with the pivot ball extension arm has served for 30 years w/o problems. I guess you would call that a Bubba thing...
