Default Epoxy vs. polyester adhesive for fiberglass

Sermersheim's lists a bonding adhesive (epoxy) and a polyester adhesive.

The epoxy adhesive is twice as expensive.

What is the difference?

Can they both be used for bonding panels and filler?

Well the polyester is made for bonding polyester based fiberglass panels like C1s and Cs have. I believe epoxy is primarily for SMC panels but yes, epoxy can be used on Polyester too and I do believe it is stronger than the polyester adhesive

Both will bond. Epoxy and urethane sometimes have issues with the refinishing process, so it is better to finish out with a polyester material. For any of Sermershims parts, polyester will work just fine, because they are polyester products.
