Default Cleaning mildew stains on vert

I know some are probably wonder why a coupe owner is asking this question, but it's for my neighbor who asked what would I suggest for cleaning the stains from her tan convertible top. FWIW, the car is a C5 but I prefer asking for advice from among those I know.

Thanks....

I would give Bleach-White by Westley's a try. It will not turn it white but really is a good cleaner. Use a bristle brush to work it in and hose it off. You may have to do the whole top as the area of concentration may appear too clean by comparison. Good luck.

Default Rag Top Cleaner

Try Wolfsteins Pro-=Series RAGGTOPP Convertible Top Cleaner. It works great on Tan C5 Tops and makes them like new. You can get it online at"www.shadetreeonline.com". They also have a protectant to apply after cleaning.

I had a white top with loads of mildew stains, and asked the same question about 2 months ago. Tried Mothers ragtop cleaner, bon ami, others and had no luck. Went to the dollar store to get a small brush for scrubbing and saw some mildew remover (has bleach in it) for $2.00 a bottle, thought why not I'll try it. Let it set for a little, then scrub, worked much better than all the others I tried, wasn't like new but much better.
