Default Help Finding Dealer

We have a 67. Does anyone know if it is possible to find the dealer where the car was originally delivered. I have found nearly every previous owner but can not find dealer who sold the car.

I am sorry if this is a dumb question but if you read the dealer # on the tank sticker, where do you go to find out which dealership sold the car new?

I tried to check for the tank sticker as suggested. The gasket is very tight to the filler neck and was painted at one time. It is very stiff. I'm a little leary about prying at it it may tear. Any suggestions? Remember I have a convertible, so not much room to work with.

I just tried it. I think I see it. But I can't read it. Now I need to replace the filler neck gasket. Can I do it from the top?

I highly encourage you to obtain the tank sticker. I left mine up for years and I had a water leak which turned the sticker into mud. Fortunetly I can read the options still but need to get it reproduced. :yesnod:

We will be attempting to get at the tank sticker this weekend. Nice Red Corvette! When I first saw the picture I thought it was mine.
