'67 stinger Colors
I promise this is the last time I'll ask this question . . . maybe.
do the stinger colors match up to corresponding body paint colors?
To clarify: is the Bright Blue Stinger on a white body Malibu Blue?
Is the 'Teal' color, Lynndale Blue?
Red - Rally Red?
or are there a whole different set of colors that are coded for Stingers?
thanks to all who have helped me earlier. The car is now painted Black and waiting for a decision on the Stinger. thanks again. cb

Burning Brakes
I narrowed mine down to Black with The Marina Blue Stinger or the totally non-stock newer Millennium Yellow Stinger....
But now I don't think I will Go Black...
Sorry can't help you with the question...I Think the Stingers were Std Body colors but I really don't have any info to support that.

It actually depends on the color. Some colors are the same as body colors, some are not. For instance, my white car has a blue stripe. The blue has its own formula and is not the same as marina blue, but black is the same. This information is available and is listed by formula. The problem is that it may be difficult to translate that formula into modern paints.

EXACTLY!!! That's the problem. I would like to determine the color of a Teal Stinger. I've seen a couple of pictures (thanks Craig MacDonald!)
but it's tough to determine how the color really looks or what 'teal' means. Could be the Lynndale Blue, but I'm not sure.
That's why I was asking for help. thanks. cb

Stinger vinyl
I came across your comment about the availability of stingers made in vinyl. I have a '67 black car and would like to find a nice colour red. Please send me the contact.
Thanks,
Allan

you realize this thread is 9 years old. I haven't seen that poster in prolly 9 years. it would be best to start your own thread on the subject. but any "sign" shop or any place that does vinyl wrap on cars should be able to make you one. or just have it painted

Grissom '67
Need to log on more frequently. I am going to take the Grissom car back to the original Lyndale Blue with teal interior. I cannot find out what color the stinger was. Any help would be appreciated.
