Cruise-In Pics From Tonight
Remember the old Beach Boys song, "Shut Down" ? Super Stock Dodge with the 413. This one is susposed to have real racing pedigree. Cool car. Also like the 1968 SS 396 Camaro, superb restoration. The old Ford truck and Galaxie seem like good deals...a couple of Pantera's showed up. Don't see too many of those around anymore. Boss 302 Mustang was nice.

Nice bunch of cars, seems like a good mix. I quess I am vicariously going to shows thru the forum, since I am thrashing a bit to get the painting done before it gets too cold. Thanks-Jim

Yep, I think the buttons to the left of the steering wheel. My aunt use to have one, not a super stock, but I remember the push button tranny and thought it was cool. Also note the lightweight front end/bumper.

Does the Dodge have a "Push button" automatic?

Nice pictures.
Is that the "Po Boys" cruise in in Canton Georgia?
We have some friends that live in Ball Ground, Georgia.
I drove my tripleblack C5 when we visited them last year and attended that cruise in. Had a nice time.
Thanks for sharing the pics.

Hi Pedro,
Yep, its the Canton cruise-in. Several hundred cars, with lots of variety. Make sure your friends carry you to "Two Brothers BBQ" in Ball Ground next time

Where's the street race video???
I want to see some action of you "posting up" on these boys....
If you loose at all I'll have to go visit Alan Sanjian and see if he
has a spare aluminum 427 laying around...

We have a nostalgia drag meet coming up at the local dragstrip.Small town...don't know, if we will get very many cars. But, I would love to see a large nostalgia drag race event.
That Super Stock Dodge with the 413 had more rubber on the back than all my tires combined Plus all he has to do is set back and push those damn buttons

I liked the Flat Black Deuce... and the 2nd Gen Red Formula
speaking of 413's... my buddy just offered me one complete
with carb, accesories,whole 9 for $200...
I would kind of like to arrive at 426 ci .... but the actual
426 street wedges are non existant... the max wedge 426's are in
the stratosphere...
Im going to have to either bore out a 413 .060 or stroke a
383 B Block with a 440 crank.... either one of those formulas will
put me at stock 426 bore and stroke.... flip a coin... I will save about
80 lbs ( I believe) going with the 383 stroker..

I thought 413's were on the rare side...Guess I don't know my Mopars. That picture doesn't do the Formula justice. It's all original....just super detailed for an old original car. I like seeing different stuff, at the shows.
