What are the real differences between the 3. I know that the 1964-65 365HP engine was the same, but how about the 1963 340HP setup. Did the Holley really give the 1964-65 327 25 more HP's?

The 63 had the 097 cam, 1.94/1.5 valves, AFB.
The 64-5 had the 30-30 cam, 2.02/1.6 valves, Holley.
Those are the fundamental differences (that extra 25hp came from the better breathing of the cam/heads).
As an added note, the 65 350hp (L79) was the same as the 365hp, except it had a hyd cam. Everything else was basically identical as the 365hp/327------------------PLUS, you could get air on the 1965 350 and 365 engines!
Basically, the same is also true for the 360 vs 375 engines, except the 63 had a 7014375 FI unit and the 64-5 had a 7014380 FI unit.
