Battery Access Door on 66?
Another question for you experts: This 66 427/425 Coupe that I am looking at on EBAY, it does not have a battery access door in the driver side wheel well. The owner told me it was for factory A/C cars only...I though 65-66 A/C and Big block cars had the battery access door and the battery on the driver side. Whats the real deal? Thanks in advance!!!!

I'm no expert, but I believe the battery access door would be referred to as the hood. I had an 85 & 86 that had a removable panel on the driver side for battery access. Some states do not allow odometer rollbacks. Don't know how that might affect this deal. Be cautious when dealing with this seller. Good luck.

look for a TI box on the left front... in front of the rad support...or at least holes from where one used to be.

lol I just noticed..... In his listing he says "At 5000 RPMs I require a change of clothes".
Realize, those heads really start to work at about 4500-4700.... the strong pull starts there, and keeps going till 7000, or whatever. That's what these engines are setup for........ for putt-putting around 1500 to 4500 or so, a 390 really is a better choice.
