Heater water shut off valve on 66 with A/C
Does anyone have a picture of an original heater water vacuum shut off valve. Even better if it is shown in place. I have one that was supposed to be correct but the vacuum tube comes straight out the front of the vacuum chamber. The diagrams in the AIM look like it is pointing at 90 degrees to the vacuum chamber.

I believe the correct one is shown in this Long Island Corvette photo (Section 34, 35, & 36):

According to their catalog, the same one was used from 1963 thru 1967.

Here you go, this is a correct reproduction valve from Long Island Corvette Supply.
It was very, very close to the original valve I removed, the only difference I could see was the water flow direction arrow on original valve has slightly more crisp detail. You can see the vacuum nipple comes off at a right angle.

Thanks All ! Jeez, everything I needed in one place at Long Island, no less.....a correct looking shut off valve...all the o rings I've scrounged from here and there and I didn't use any lube like the kit they offer or the STV rebuild. Now I'll want to start over. The NOS part really looks great and a rare bird indeed. The Forum rings the bell once again. Thanks, Bill

If I remember correctly, the reproduction valve does NOT have the
manufactures script writen on the top like the original has.
