Default Paul's Chrome Plating

Just got my bumpers back today from paul's chrome , took only 4 weeks and look so good that I'm afraid that the rest of my car is going to look bad !
I highly recommend them.

I used Paul's chrome on my first 57 back in 91. I just sent him all the parts for my 58. They are really nice people to deal with. I should have everything back in about 6 weeks.

Did you already recieve your quote? If so would you mind sharing the pricing on the parts?

Thanks

I have a '60 and they are doing my front and rear bumpers, the two door posts and the small rear bumper crescents for $2400 plus shipping back to Ohio. They are due here in the next few weeks....

I drove there and had to haggle a little bit as I was under the impression via a phone call that it was going to be LESS......

Man those are HIGH prices. Guess I'm lucky to be down south. I used to use Paul's until they ruined my bumperettes and wouldn't do anything about it. Based on those prices, I'm glad I went to S & H.

Pauls did all my bumpers on my '67 way back in 86 and ten years later the front looked a little cloudy, they redid them at NO charge. I'll recommend them any time.

Thanks, That is very valuable info to me. I better start another piggy bank for chrome work in the future.

If you are not in a rush, what I did on a few items is looked on ebay for someone selling what I was looking for already rechromed in show condition. If the price was right buy it sell mine. If you buy and sell right you're ahead.

Man, those prices are way high. I had Spacecoast Plating do my four '66 bumpers plus the center bar bracket for $840.00. They were triple chrome and came out fantastic.

Where is Spacecoast Plating? How recent was that price? How long did they take?

I'm just about ready for plating now and have been undecided whether to have mine replated, use them as cores for a set already plated, or buy a set from ebay...
