Default Questions about a Jamison Frame.

I would like to know more about a Jamison Frame. I am in the process of buildiong a C2 car on C4 suspension. I have heard that Jamison Frames are the ones to use. I have several questions.
!). Are any modifications needed to the C4 suspensions when installed on the Jamison frame?
2) Can you use the C4 Rack and Pinion with out modifications on the Jamison Frame?
3) will the bumper bolt right on w/o modification on the frame?
4) Any other issues I might need to be concerned with on the first phase?
Is there someone at Jamison I can call and speak with? If so, How can I get the tel Number?
Thanks George

I have one of Jamison's frames, but your best bet is to talk to John or Kerry Jamison.

1- Shorten Half shafts ($50 a side), shorten tie rods length as well.
2- You need to cut about an inch off the ends of the rack and Pinion.
3- The bumper does not bolt on to the frame, it bolts on to the bumper brackets. They bolt up to the frame correctly.
4- You need to cut the a hole and add a patch section (supplied by Jamison) right behind the seats to account for the rear diff brace on the frame. Also, make sure you tell them what engine and tranny you will be using as they provide matching motor mounts and tranny crossmembers.

BTW, I chose 1996 components which are 3/4" longer than the 85-87 C4 suspension. That may be why they asked me to shorten the half shafts and the rest of the tierods, etc. Talk to them to get the final word, they have been excellent to me.
