Default Window Trim How to Polish.

I have good trim around wind shield, hard top and side windows. I want to polish it but is it stainless or chrome plated. What is the best way to polish with out burning or screwing up a good piece.

I don't know about the C-1 stainless but the C-2 pieces were flash chromed. I had my stainless polished by the guy who did my bumpers here in Houston and he offered to flash chrome them but I declined. I wasn't comfortable enough to do my stainless at home and didn't have the correct equipment or the expertise to take the dents out so I had someone else do it.

There are a lot of guys who do it themselves, maybe they'll add something. I know John McGraw has all of the stuff set up in his garage and does his own polishing and some plating.
