Default L-88 Manifold Info

Had the extreme good fortune of being in the right place at the right time, today. Situation yielded two vintage GM aluminum intake manifolds. I believe one of these to be an original L-88, 427 cu. in. from either a Corvette or Chevelle. Manifold is GM #3885069 with a build date on the bottom side of manifold showing 11-24-65. This manifold is unrestored and in excellant condition, showing no cracks or corrosion. I am in the middle of a frame off on a 1971 roadster, and hope to sell this manifold to help finance my restoration. Was hoping to get some input on the manifolds applications, the manifolds approx value, and the best place to market it. Any help would be appreciated.

Also used on the L72 427 - I've got one on the car and a spare (paid $200 for it a couple of years ago at Carlisle)

I picked one up on ebay a few months ago for $200ish. Nothing really special about then as there are many out there for sale.

Found a pair for 100.00 at a shop in Wyandotte hanging on his wall. Yep, I bought them. Fits Camaros and Chevelles too.

I've been looking for a 069 with the 3 hole plenum, or with the full divider. If anyone wants to sell one for about $250 pls contact me!
Thanks, Mike

I had one on a bbc I bought in 1985, sat in the garage until last year when I found out what it was, sold it on ebay for $385 with a broken front bolt hole.

An actual L88 intake would have the center divider missing (never cast in) and have an extra casting number or in other years a completely different casting number. Below is one example of multiple casting numbers for a 67 L88 intake.
