Default corvette needed for commercial asap!!!

Greetings!,

I obtain classics for films, videos, photo shoots,
etc.

I need to find a '63 to ‘67 Corvette convertible for a photo shoot and tv commercial shooting next week on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday. Needs to be an automatic.

The shoot will be in Los Angeles.

I need to get a hold of someone very soon, so I can
book the car for the shoot. And..yes there is good
pay. I don't deal with free shoots.

To give you a quick backrground of who I am:
For the past 13 years i have organized a classic car show every year called the Blessing of the Cars in Los Angeles. I have been
dealing with picture vehicles for about 8 years now.
What's different about me is that I am always on set
with the cars I hire. I do this to make sure the
cars aren't damaged, or messed with by those who
don't understand the classic car world.

Some of the past shoots I've booked cars for
include: N'SYNC music video, Mariah Carrie music
video, AT&T commercials, MTV Becoming, Verizon ad,
Nelly video, Annie Liebowitz for Vanity Fair,
Christina Aguilara album shots, Rosario Dawson for Britsh GQ, .Old Spice ad, and much more.

You can email me pictures of cars to hotrodsquirrell@yahoo.com. Please be
sure to have interior shots as well. Phone calls, anytime
(day or night), are ok too.

Feel free to forward this to whomever you think
can help.

Thank you very much,
Gabriel Baltierra

Hot Rod,

If you are indeed sincere, you might want to give us some more verifiable information & references about yourself and whom you represent...

Posting on an internet forum does not make one credible.

He's probably a legit broker..but do you really want to?? I've had my cars and even my business (a bar) listed with several agencies here in the LA area to be used in movies, commericals and the like , but if you don't have a lot of free time its really not worth the effort, I was paid an average of 150 a day to sit around an average 8 hr shooting day "on site" (and that site could be almost anywhere)..of course if they really need and are going to use your car for a long period of time they try and retain it in their possession til they are done shooting, OK the money is good and they insure it ,but like most of you out there I don't really like my car out of sight and who knows what can happen, there are some collectors/vendors that cater to the studios but if the producers need a particular car they call people like Gabriel to beat the bushes for one ( I always follow up with other known brokers to find out if brokers are known, licensed and legit)

I had a friend allow a movie to be shot in his house in Savannah years ago. He lost the use of his home for the shooting and had to spend bucks repairing the damages. Sometimes these companies feel that the bragging rights of having your car / home in a movie is enough.

If he really needed a car could n't he go to the several website that supposedly place your car for you in the movies, they are LA based.

I have read that getting your car in a real movie is alot of fun if you have the time. However, I have also heard about getting your car back in pieces and saying sorry, how much for the damages.

Ask the National Park Services how they fared by letting Lucas film Starwars VI in a park. (Jabbas barge in the desert)
