Duntov signed owners manual
Hello:
Anybody have an educated guess, or even speculation on the value of an original 1956 Corvette owner's manual that is signed by Zora Duntov. Signed on or about 1987 with photos of him signing it at a show. It is in very good condition. What are items signed by him worth? I could not find anything previously posted.
Thanks, new member Inca59.

1956 ... I don't have it, thinking of buying it from a fellow I met at a show. I have no idea what it might be worth ... I can't find anything signed by him to compare it with.

I've been watching ebay items for Zora stuff, nothing ever comes up for sale with the exception of art prints ... nothing else so far. If he signed a bunch of stuff, beats me. I never see much of anything out there that is signed and documented.

Zora, God bless him, signed just about everything. He came to Corvette Carlisle for decades. He came to many of the NCRS Nationals. He was at Bloomington.......
I have signed hats, owners manuals, pictures, etc.
I don't think it's worth a whole lot....maybe a few $$$ more than an unsigned original manual.

I have an SR-71 signed by Kelly Johnson..... Seriously though, I don't think I'd want a car signed by them. Their true signature is the car itself, and that's good enough for me.

At the Houston Grand Prix, Ron Fellows was a super guy and came out and signed and dated the underside of my hood. I will treasure it forever. Some guys got there Glove box fronts signed like Carol Shelby does, others had him sign the engine valve cover.
Since I never met or saw Zora that would be a real treat to have a signed owners manual for a '63.
Ebay finds the market pretty well. I wouldn't put a minimum, but run it for 9 days, it gets alot more exciting if there is no minimum or reserve.
Documentation that it is real would be the most important part of the listing on ebay.

I remember seeing a Zora signed 2x4 air cleaner go for around $1,000 about a year ago on Ebay. It came with a picture of it being signed, if I recall correctly.
