Sneak peak at my SRIII project
Well gang I finally got to the point I was able to drop the body back on the chassis (Thanks to forum member "BADBIRDCAGE" AKA Rich, your a great help!!).
It's full steam ahead from here, the car is going to be at Carlisle in the SRIII display. It wont be finished completely but should have most of the big stuff bolted on I'm really digging the look and am getting pretty excited to see it all come together. I will be posting some more pics once I get some of the parts bolted back on. Here are a couple of shots from today, what do ya think???

I guess I need to schedule a trip up to take a closer look at that bad *** ride! It looks like you are making some good headway. So with three weeks to go are you thrashing every day to get it done? Dave

That is sooo sweet. Does the SRIII chassis require any body modifications? In other words, if one were to fully frame off restore thier vette and then buy a SRIII chassis, could they just transfer the body from the stock chassis to this one and drive it?

Street shops frame is more what your looking for if you want to have the option to return it to stock.

Not quite as rigid, but a nice product from what I've seen.

Just have to show you mine 1 cool 62. I am building a 67 with a Jamison frame L1 and 4L60E, c4 suspensions and a friend is making the front and rear clip along with the eyebrow and exhaust panel. I bought a set of doors from New Orleans and the deck lid din Maryland. I hope to drive it to kissimmee in January. Looks like your is about ready to go.
Got a question the center of my transmission is about 1 1/2 " misaligned from the center of my rear end. I know it is supposed to be no more than 3 degrees, I jsut don't know what 1 1/2" is is in degrees.
Thanks George
Hope to see you in Carlisle.
