Default Anyone using diesel oil in their C2...
I mentioned to a couple of friends that I was going to change oil in my C2 and they said that they are switching to diesel oil (Shell brand from Wal-Mart) for their tri-five chevys because of the additives that diesel still contains. Did I miss the memo on this?

Does the Rotella have a grade, and where is the best place to purchase? Thanks. 327/300hp with A/C 1967 vert.

Try the 15-40. But look for the CI-4 rated oil, it has more ZDDP in it where as the new Rotella is'nt a CI-4 rated oil due to the new emissions.

Any brand CI-4 will do. 15W-40 is OK to 15*F. The local Walmart here has a lot of Motorcraft CI-4 in stock.
