The news here said a tree fell on a car and someone was seriously injured, but no fatalities.
Getting any info is spotty, the news just said the entire town of Carlisle is without power now and to stay away if you can for the time being.
I have to go get my stuff, but will play it by ear from there.
The storm came on very fast and the wind was unbelievable. I was soaked to the bone in seconds trying to guard our cars from flying trashcans, chairs, tents, etc. We rolled up a bunch of windows and just rode it out.
Quite a few vendors had all their merchandise scattered about. It was, and still is a mess.

My 67 was sitting right where the photographer took that last picture of the sunset orange vette. fortunately, I was already gone for the day and had removed the canvas off my tents and covered my car. I feel so bad for all those who had damage to their cars or bodies. I feel very fortunate my car was unscathed considering its vulnerability. what happened tonight was crazy.

Official time it hit was 7:14pm. I was at the hotel (Days Inn host hotel) and it hit here about 6:50. You couldn't see outside the window it was coming down so hard. I need to get back to florida where it's safe. we only get hurricanes, and we get a week's notice!

What a terrible thing to happen. Prayers sent out to all who had to go through the bad weather.

All the years I've been going to Carlisle, the worst we had was some rain showers and sometimes unbearable heat. This is a tragedy. I missed this year.
My thoughts and prayer go out to anyone who was injured and those who lost or had damage done to their Vettes
