Default Excellent Corvette Book at Costco

Hello, folks,

Got me a present over the weekend...

At first I though it was your typical cut-rate coffee-table Corvette pictorial; however, it is really quite an interesting package! Along with the usual plethora of Corvette information, it also contains reprints of Corvette-related documents and literature - for instance, in a pocket on page 29, there is a repro of a letter sent by Zora to Ed Cole; the dealer brochure for the new 1956 Corvette; and a souvenir guide to the GM Motorama of 1954. There is a bunch more, but I haven't had a chance to review the whole book.

The best part - $13.99 at Costco! I think it's an incredible value, and would make an excellent gift for the Corvette enthusiast.

PS At my local Costco thay also had another version called "Mustang Dynasty" - not that anyone here would care...

If your city is Costco challenged like mine you can buy this book at Amazon. $16.75 new or $11.75 used.

Good to know. A few weeks ago my wife & I were in the local Costmore, and I handed that book to her and said, "Here, this would make a nice Christmas present for someone very special."

So, hopefully that someone special will get it as a present..

Just got mine...went back and bought 5 more for Christmas presents. What a great book. The audio CD is a kick to listen to cranked LOUD...the # 3 track of a 360 horse '62 sounds like the cam lope of a fuel dragster pulling up to stage....unreal.

I'll bet the author & publisher must be wondering what caused sales suddenly to shoot up...

I'm getting mellow. It's so nice to hold and feel a book so well done rather than get one electronically that you have to print out. Thanks Kbu...whatever .
