Default F41 vs. regular shock mount difference

Anybody know how the F41 shocks mounts differ from the regular ones?

If I understand your question correctly, the mount is the same, the differences lie in the shocks themselves (for C2's anyway).

There's actually a different part number for the mounts themselves.
I didn't realize until a few weeks ago when I finally decided to figure out what the extra parts are that Noland lists under his description of F41.

He lists "Rear wheel spindle support strut shaft, part numbers 3829265 (left) and 3829266 (right)".

I finally got around to looking them up in a parts number book and they're the shock mounts. Like a putz I threw my old ones away when I took them off so I can't compare them to the replacements.

I've read that they provide more clearance for the bigger shocks.

I think I have an extra set of those HD shock pins #265/266 if anyone is interested in buying them.

I have a '65 with the F41 suspension and have a pair of HD shocks that I bought over the counter many moons ago although they are not
exactly like the originals. I'm at a loss but what are the pins? If I need them I'm interested in yours. Raymond G

F40/41 mount shaft on the left, standard on the right - the elbow section on the F40/41 shaft is a little beefier.
