Default Help with Identifying Starter

What date is my starter?

1964 p/n 1107320 3L4 Starter Assembly

Did they skip the I and this is a November date or is it a December date?

Thanks in Advance.....

MOST cast iron parts, blocks, heads, manifolds, DID NOT skip the letter I (A-L used). But MOST electrical items, generators, alternators, dist, starters, DID skip the letter I because it could easily be confused with the number 1 (A-M used).

According to the NCRS judging guide, the letter L would correspond to November assembly. They did skip I.

The date code format is YMDD, so yours looks like it's a November 4, 1963 date.

If the date is CAST (raised), "I" was used; if the date is STAMPED, "I" was not used.
