The switch in my 65 must be pushed forward to open the doors and pulled back to close. Seems like it should be the other way round???
If mine is wrong would it just be a matter of swapping the wires on the switch??

The headlight door switch connector is riveted together, so no easy way to reverse the wires there. Only solution is to remove the connectors at the headlight motors, unpin the terminals and reverse them. Probably not an easy job with the hood on. (Just guessing).
