Default rams horn clear angle plug heads?

Maybe a dumb question here, but will angle plug heads work (clear) with rams horns exhaust manifolds? I tried searching the forum but didn't see any definitive answers.

should be no problem... i believe the plugs angle toward each other... meaning.... plugs 1 and 3 angle toward each other, and plugs 5 and 7 angle toward each other.

This should give plenty of clearance.

i'd definatly take a manifold with me to mock up though before purchase.

Thanks

Aaron

Yep, they work OK.

Here is a ZZ4 with the L98 heads and 2 1/2 inch ram horns

Default blackmagic......

Thanks for the confirm. I'm curious as to whether you'd considered running headers with your set-up. I actually took off a real nice set of hooker headers that were on my '61 when I bought it (I wanted to go with a stock look), but I've been second guessing myself sometimes about what I might be loosing by not having left the headers on.

Default rams horns and angle plug heads

I just installed a pair of 2 1/2 inch rams horns on my new crate motor with fast burn heads. The angle plugs work better than the straight ones. I port matched the manifolds to the heads. Worked out well.

I've run stock rams horns and headers with my "492" angle plug heads with no problems.
