Side Window Adjustment
Recently installed the side & vent windows back into the car with new W/S, window channels, etc.
Noticed that the forward section of the drivers side window sits higher in the window channel as compared to the rear of the window.
Is there an adjustment to correct this problem?

You can adjust how far the window goes up by adjusting the bumpers that stop the window at the top of the run. There are holes at the top of each side of the inner door panel to allow access to the bumpers to adjust them up or down a bit. The shop manual has good info on adjusting windows and doors if you have one.

thx. for the reply but I was hoping for some kind of adjustment in the window assembly, which would allow me to raise / lower the window as necessary.
Neglected to indicate that they are PW, not sure if it matters.

There is Brett, but trying to describe it to you here would be like trying to tell you how to tie a "Four-In Hand" knot on your necktie over the telephone.
I believe that your AIM has a section on how to do it.
You can tip the entire top of the window in or out.
You can raise the front or back...
You can make the window go higher or lower.
You can move the window bodily fore and aft.
ALL by fooling with the adjustments on the tracks and the "wind up" mechanism, or in your case, the PW mechanism.
Check your AIM and see if you can find it. If not, you might find the procedure in a Chassis Service Manual.

The stops are mounted on each end of the window support that holds the bottom of the window glass. I checked in the Long Island Corvette parts catalog (Sect.#9, 76a/77a) and see the bumpers are only sold for the 63-7 roadster so I was probably not accurate in my first post to Brett since I see he has a coupe. I'm guessing that since the parts aren't listed for a coupe they must not have the rubber stops. This would make sense since the top of the door would limit the run up of the glass. Probably why you haven't seen them on your car too. Sorry if I gave the wrong info. Dave

Looked at the adjustments Chuck had mentioned last week, but it was absolutely freezing in my garage & I decided to wait until it warmed up a bit before I take another look.
