I am located in North Dakota. There is an autobody shop in NJ owned by a man named Len Stuart. This is my second recomendation for him. The first one I did, I received a big Thank You from the man who took my advice. Len owns and operates Stuarts auto body in NJ. Not sure of which town. Where I ran into Len was through his website autobodystore.com. I bought one of his autobody videos and have purchased supplies from him. Great man. It would be well worth your drive. Go to autobodystore.com and look for his contact number. Please let me know how it goes. Dick Gutman

Default Painting

I don't know about your area but I have heard nothing but good reports about this place from other Corvette owners. Prices are reasonable, wwwellllll nobody/nothing is reasonable today.

Alliance paint and Body
347 U.S. Hwy. no. 46, Minehill ,N.J.
973-252-9111

And if you need the old paint taken off, the best way other than chemicals ,is soda blasting.

I would highly recommend this company for soda blasting, he does painting also, dont know his prices for painting.

Classic Truck Restorations
Califon Business Park
Califon, N.J. 07830
908-832-1111

I think he get $1,000 for paint removal, not sure. Also ,every Corvette has a story, and it will be told when you strip the paint off.

Thanks for all of the replys, I stripped the car myself about 20 yrs ago and had some body work done about 8 yrs. ago - so it's in primer right now but I want to get it finished this spring/summer since it's so close. I've completely restored eveything mechanically myself, I just need someone to check out the trans.
