Anyone have a vendor that restores original license plates? I need my California black and gold plates restored. Thanks All.

Default MoJo art works

I had my "tags" done by MoJo art works (www.Mojoartworks.com), and I am very pleased! They look better than new.

License plates are very easy to repaint yourself. Here is a set of Texas plates I did;

I used Larry Hoeft from this list. Quick turnaround and very reasonable.

I don't know the name, but there's a vendor at the Long Beach swap meet who restores CA plates of all kinds, colors -- all the way back to the yelllow/black from the 30s. The next meet is April 13 if you can make it.

I have had great results using the Tag Dr.
www.tagdr.com

I have had two different license plates restored by him. Both came back excellent.

My plates are "okay" for now but could someone provide an estimate of cost to restore 2 plates?

I should add that the metal is not in need of restoration but the plates need to be repainted.
