I've searched multiple forums and did not find what I'm looking for, so I'll try the more direct route. Looking for anyone who has or knows someone who has torch red c5 seats. I'll keep searching the forums as well.
Thanks

C5 seats
I just purchased a set of Black C5 Sport Seats from Vette 2 Vette (in the vender side bar} for my 64 coupe. I have not received them as yet. The car they where out of was a 98 28k car that had not arrived at his sight yet. His buyer said the interior was immaculate. I ask him to look it over when the car arrived and see if he concurred with that evaluation. He said great condition. I worked with Jason there. Didn't ask about Red seats but he said they are getting cars in from time to time. Might put in an order with him or see if he may have a set. He was very responsive to my email and called me back when promised.

You Might Want To Try A "Want To Buy" Ad In The C5 Parts Section.......
of the Forum. I've found parts for my 1995 C4 Coupe that way in the past. You might also check the C5 Parts section periodically for cars being parted out. I got a great deal on a carpet set for my C4 from a guy in Florida who was parting out a 1996 rollover car. Also, check the ads in Hemmings for companies that part out later model Corvettes in your area. Keep in mind that a set of seats will cost a good bit to ship due to increases in UPS and FedEx rates. Good Luck!

I got a set of black ones for my 64 off ebay. There are some on there, just have to time it right for the color you want, or you could recover if they are worn or damaged.
How were you going to mount them? There was an article in one of the magazines last year about them.

That was Rich Lagasse's 63 SWC's build, Split Personality, on Corvette Fever. I am presently doing almost exactly what he did with a set of C5 seats I got for my 66, based on his instructions using a set of C3 seat rails and some aluminum risers I fabricated.

BTW, if you are going to put them in your C2 without cutting and reshaping the floors then you don't need the motors or tracks the C5 seats come with.

oh no, now I think I might want a set too....CoupeKeeper, mind if I ask what you paid for yours? PM if you'd prefer not to post.
For anyone that has done this....any chance you sit lower than stock seat especially without floor changes. I would not mod the car floor for my install.
Now where is that cupholder thread..
Thanks

Seats Arrived
The seats and hardware I ordered have arrived. Quality was as stated.
At this point I see no reason to modify the floor pan of the car. I do plan on cutting approx. 2" off of the front track mount. Improve clearance between seat and steering wheel. This will still allow clearance for the air pump which is the lowest item under the seat. First will be installing the seat belts before proceeding with the seats.
For those who wanted picture of C5 seat in a midyear, enjoy.
