Willcox Heat Barrier install question?
I am ready to put my heat barrier in, but have hit a snag. I have the Willcox heat barrier. It has a silver side and a white almost feels like foam side. They also have little yellow tags on them that say "foil side down." As there was no other instructions, I emailed Willcox and they said the heat barrier should be installed "foil side up." So has anyone else installed the Willcox heat barrier and is the silver side down or up? And has anyone installed the Willcox Jute Sound Deadener? Does the jute side go down on the heat barrier or the rubber side down? And do you glue everything...heat barrier to floor, jute to heat barrier and carpet to rubber backing? Thanks...Nick

Nick,
I sent you an email. Tom told you the foil side up and is wrong. I think it was just a typo, but the foil side is to be down!
The jute on the deadener is to be down as well. The black mastic should be up toward the carpet set.
If you have any questions, please email me direct at Willcoxcustomerservice@willcoxcorvette.c om
The guys in sales are pretty sharp, but it's best if you just email me direct!

Six,
I don't blame you, Tom just emailed you the wrong answer. He just made a typo and this only added to the confusion.
Thank you for the business.
