Is the orange wire to the GB light fused?

If so. off which circuit at the fuse box?

I believe it's the bottom fuse on the small panel.

When in doubt just remove one fuse at a time to see if the light goes out.

Should be on the same fuse as the dash lights, I believe.

Like Tom E. said. Bottom fuse, Courtesy and Stop Lamps. It's difficult to find in the wiring diagrams because they call it "Inst. Compt. Lamp & Switch". I have no idea what 'Inst.' is short for. I have always called it the glove box.

But.....I don't keep instruments in there. Especially since I play the trombone. Hardly enough room for a flute.

"Inst. Compt" = Instrument Panel Compartment.

Nope - the glove box light is on the same full-time battery power circuit with the courtesy lights, stop light switch, and the clock (bottom fuse).
