I purchased two new chrome wiper arms from MaryJo but the drivers side doesn't fit as snug against the windshield as the passenger side... Meaning the blade doesn't fit as tight against the glass leaving a slight smear when wiping in a light rain...

Is there a way to adjust the spring tension on the wiper arm or an adjustment to make them more snug against the glass?

You could remove the spring and cut 1-2 coils off and then re-bend the hook. I would do 1 coil at a time and then check to see if your problem is fixed.

You could also put a very slight bend in the arm.

I would first compare the old and the new and see if the contours are the same, if not bend to match. If this doesn't work try the spring cut.
