Default [PICS] My Dad bought a 64 Restomod Coupe

After 2 years of searching, the old man finaly settled on his 7th Corvette. Fully restored 64 Fuelie Coupe, resto mod. Tons of Documentation, but not the original drivetrain, but we have a lead on where to find it. Not sure the final direction on it, but the Vette Rod display at Carlisle was awesome, so we're thinking of slamming it (espeically since his DD Silverado is slammed and sits lower than the vette ) Some new Foose wheels and overdrive. The car has brand new everything including a just broken in GM Fast Burn 385 crate motor and M-22 4 speed, Kenwood/ Bose soundsystem and iPod hookup, PW/ PB/ AC. I will get much better pics this weekend, but this is what I got today (he just picked it up last night) and I know some people on here are excited to see it

Looks like a nice find.

It's great when you can start with a car in nice condition and make it just the way you want. Best of luck with it.

The parking brake works, but it's steep driveway, and we figured better safe than sorry. Especially the first night

Great looking car, I'm sure he will enough it. I think these might be the future since so many just sit after being restored.

BTW, definitely an oxymoron here. It is either restored, or it isn't. And restoration doesn't mean modded. Don't take that as a bad thing, because like I said, I think these are where most are going to be going for enjoyment. Definitely sharp looking.

Undersood. By Fully Restored, I meant frame off, nut and bolt resotration after sitting in a barn in Wisconsin for 20 yrs. Not restored to factory specs
