Pics of First ZR1 in Canada #21
Well gang, I had a great day today. I got out for a cruise in my '63 and I got to play in Canada's 1st ZR1, which just got back from a cross-Canada showing! I'll attach some pics of it and my '63 hereunder:
There are more pics of all of them in an album on my profile called 'My '63 and 2009 ZR1', should you wish to view them. There are also pics in that folder of a couple of really cool Tuners, a Cobalt and a Pontiac G5. Feel free to check them out. - Pat

Controversy...
This thread was posted in the Cdn section saying the first one had arrived at Wilson Niblett Chev Olds on the 15th and it was silver. You had better head over to the Cdn section and straighten this out.

**EDIT** That might be the first Cdn one, but it is a non retail version. In that case I had pics of it when it FIRST arrived in Canada. It came straight to GSL in Calgary from Bowling Green back in June. I got the first photos on the forum of it. But you got to drive it, I didn't

Here are pics taken with a cell-phone camera just before it went to Calgary:
I hadn't posted any of these pics at the time because they are poor quality. The new pics are much better IMHO.

Safety Car
To bad General Motors Canada has decided to once again totally screw loyal Canadian Corvette fans. They've added a $40K "Canada only" surcharge to the price, before it even hits the dealer and his markup...
There are absolutely no differences between US and Canadian spec cars, and currency adjustment with the Canadian dollar would only add about $3K to the US ZR-1 price.
Bill Heard has nothing on these guys, they do this on all GM cars sold in Canada. The higher the price, the greater the greed delta...
May the cars rot in their inventory, they ain't getting another dime of my money.
