Default Lady Liberty at Victory Days

This is only indirectly related to C1/C2, but I felt like posting here.
I met Tom Parsons (DZAUTO) today at the Victory Days celebration in Terre Haute, Indiana. Tom is an active Forum member here on C1/C2. Tom and his crew brought in the Lady Liberty A-26 aircraft for the show.
Tom, like most I've met from the Forum, is a great guy. He not only wrenches on Corvettes and classic cars, but he helps keep this 60+ year old aircraft flying.

Here are a few pics.

Don't think I've ever read a bigger understatement. Sweet old airplane. I have Fantasy Of Flight attraction down the interstate from me here in Florida and have thought to ask if they could use some help from a middle-aged avionics technician to keep some of their wonderful old airplanes flying. The owner (a Mr. Weeks) is on site regularly and got into the antique plane biz after being inspired by the song, "Snoopy Versus the Red Baron" by the Royal Guardsmen! He is the 'real deal' and actively flys many of the old aircraft.

I love airshows. This was at Langley AFB this summer.

Default Thanx

Tom:
Thank you for taking the time to bring Lady Liberty to Terre Haute. The time that you spent with my grandson was very special, he will remember that day for a long time. Tommy

We had a great time-----------------the weather was toooooooooooo perfect!
On Fri, one lone P51 showed up, then on Sun morning 6 P-51s flew in!!!!!!!!!
Not very often you see a line of 7 P-51s!
A replica of MEMPHIS BELLE (B17) was there, 2 TBMs, @ B25s, 2 P47s (rare to just see one), Navy Wildcat and too many others to name. There was an EXTENSIVE WWII encampment with everything imagineable including WWII jeeps, command cars (including Gen Patton and siren), restored tank, halftrack, operating machine guns (with blanks). Great weekend!
I was pretty busy giving tours of our A26, so I didn't get to take as many pictures/videos as I would have liked to, but if anyone is interested in seeing the videos (from my little digital camera), I'll post them later.
