1964 Jack Date Code
Can anyone tell me if a midyear's jack should be dated coded ? I saw one on ebay and the guy states it's dated D4 . I dont see a date on my 64's , should I have a date ? Thanks

Jack dating began with January 67 production. A7 or 7A (either way was used) is Jan 67. B is Feb etc. I have had lots of them (real ones that is). Prior poster is probably correct..that is a 1974. That jack should be much bigger than a midyear jack. There were 3 versions of the midyear jack. See Noland's book for nice pictures and description. Gary
