Stinger color
Hi Guys,
My 67 vert was originally white. The car has bright blue interior. I know that the stinger probably should have been blue, but which shade of blue ??? Marina blue, Lyndale blue--stinger blue ---???? I have seen pictures, but have never actually seen a white car with bright blue interior and a blue stinger in person. I have seen the chart that shows up on here every once in a while, but that just says "blue". Which blue is it ???

Noland Adam's shows hood stripe color should be medium bright blue (Marina blue) for a white exterior with a bright blue interior.
NCRS Spec Guide says hood stripe color should be bright blue for a white exterior with a medium bright blue interior.
Both references are saying the same thing. Medium bright blue and bright blue are used synonymously for interiors, and Marina blue, bright blue and medium bright blue are used synonymously for the exteriors.

My 67 BB Convt. I have owned for about 30 years. The stripe color was not the production marina blue. It was a striping color with its own formula. You might be able to get a PPG supplier like AutoColorLibrary to mix it by that formula.
